The result. The students exposed different positive and negative impacts that they consider has an influence over the Tamarindo Bay, which includes Playa Grande and Tamarindo communities, based on their knowledge and experiences. We contrasted their results with arguments exposed in studies made by specialists, different news, the State of the Nation (Estado de la Nación), and other different research made in the area.
Finally, we made a trip to Playa Grande area and the National Park. They saw part of the influence that tourism has over the bay, and we made a reflection about the future of the area, some aspects that should be considered by different stakeholders to reduce negative impacts, boost the positive ones and face possible future threats.
