Monitoring LIGHT POLLUTION We are conducting a light pollution study as an indicator of real estate development in three different nesting beaches along the coast of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. 4 hours |
Monitoring Marine Debris This field trip consists of an educational experience about the presence and impacts of marine-coastal debris in natural areas, through citizen science and awareness. 4 hours |
Monitoring Wildlife Connectivity We study wildlife connectivity together with other organizations to reduce wildlife emergencies and improve attention. 60 - 90 min |
Monitoring SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT This experience consists of an analysis about the tourist activity and population growth in Tamarindo Bay, and an educational activity about the development of sustainable tourism. 2 hours |
Monitoring WETLAND & BIRDS We follow and learn about the migratory birds that arrive at the Tamarindo Wetland, a site of international importance for migratory and resident birds. 60 - 90 min |
Monitoring Beach Ecology Learn about the leatherback turtle and intertidal living organisms, their population trend and conservation efforts done in Las Baulas National Marine Park. 60 - 90 min |
